Privacy Policy
Puppy Park ("the app", "we", "us") is a puzzle game made for young children and published by Bakkhos Studio. We take children's privacy seriously and have designed the app to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
We do not collect personal information
Puppy Park does not ask for, collect, or store any personal information. Specifically, the app does not collect:
- names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
- photos, contacts, microphone, or camera data
- precise or coarse location
- advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any cross-app/website tracking identifiers
There are no user accounts and no login. There is no advertising, and we do not use any third-party advertising or third-party analytics services.
Anonymous gameplay data we do collect
To understand which puzzles are fun and which are too hard, the app records a small amount of anonymous gameplay data. This is not linked to any person and cannot be used to identify a child. It consists only of:
- a random identifier generated on the device (not the device ID and not an advertising ID), used only to group events from the same install
- gameplay events such as starting, completing, or leaving a level, and how many times a "shuffle" was used
- the app version and the platform (e.g. iPad)
This data is sent securely (over HTTPS) to our own private database (hosted by Supabase, acting only as our data processor) and is used solely by us to improve the game's difficulty and fix problems. It is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to track users across other apps or websites.
Crash and performance reports may also be provided to us by Apple in aggregated, anonymous form through standard Apple developer tools. These contain no personal information.
Children's privacy (COPPA / GDPR-K)
Puppy Park is intended for children and is designed to comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. Because we collect no personal information and use no third-party advertising or tracking, the app does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently received personal information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
Anonymous gameplay data is retained only as long as needed to analyze and improve the game, and may be deleted or aggregated periodically. Because the data is anonymous, we cannot link it back to an individual device on request.
Your choices
The app functions fully whether or not gameplay data is successfully sent; the data is only used to improve the game. You can stop all data collection at any time by uninstalling the app.
Changes to this policy
If we change our data practices, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above.
